Black Rain - 1.0 (Fifth Colvmn ,1995)

Hasta poder conseguir el recopilatorio editado en Blackest Ever Black, no está de más dejarse llevar por la perturbadora visión apocalíptica de este 1.0, un artefacto correoso

Black rain was the post -industrial post - punk group : Shinichi Shimokawa, Dave Vulcan, Bones, Thom Furtado and myself (Stuart Argabright)formed as 1989 went into 1990.

The group worked hard to make our sound, getting gigs - doing posters and put them up , spraybombing BR symbols across downtown, moving from end to end of Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, ... shooting video w Michael Benson. One of our symbols can be seen on the Biohazard album cover, painted on a rusting wall.

Br played C Squat with spark flying , CBGB's, set fire at The Bank on Houston St.,also the T Sq. Park Anniversary of the riots surrounded by NY Police just waiting to clear the crowd at concert's end time. We had stowed our misc metal pieces to give the audience

In 1995 Br released the album"1.0" featuring original music we composed for Robert Longo's "Jonny Mnemonic" (Sony) and William Gibson's "Neuromancer" Audio Book (TimeWarner) on DC's Fifth Column Records.Followed in 1996 by "nanarchy" also on FCR. w/ guitarist Satoru Ito

Stuart's label REC is currently preparing the first Ep and album tracks for volume 1 of the collection :

The first album''s estimated 16 cuts cover music from inception to last live show w GG Allin @ The Gas Station on LES ( roughly 1989 -'93 ), a period that saw us recording at Toxic Shock Studios on Lower Broadway , jamming with Young Gods' Franz Treichler there and releasing the Live at Gas Station set on TPOS cassettes.

A second album covering 1994 -'98 will feature the group's soundtrack productions including Neuromancer Audio Book original music soundtrack for 1994's 10th Anniversary Edition on TimeWarner .
Swiftly followed by soundtrack work on director Robert Longo's "Johnny Mnemonic" major film ( Sony Columbia 1995 ? ).

Some tracks previously released our CD album's on Fifth Column Records DC - "1.0" from 1995 & "nanarchy" from 1996 ...
Lastly, this second volume will include the unreleased next album's tracks, the last songs recorded, including Triple Witching Days, Shells and Shrdlu .
